In 2015, the Boston Bruins had three consecutive (!) first-round picks, and chose to pick all three. They selected Jakub Zboril, Jake DeBrusk, and Zach Senyshyn, painfully passing on Mathew Barzal, Kyle Connor, and Thomas Chabot (Shoutout Boston for being a legitimately good team every year since 2015 despite all that).

Picks 3, 5 & 8 are more likely to sign (& start their ELCs) sooner than picks 20 & 32

with 3 and 5, say eklund and clarke, probably a year apart as d-men need a bit more development time...wallstedt at 8 is probably at least two years away

I feel like given the situation they are in, Power would be a guy the Kings would covet. Would the Sabres take the #8, the Kings first rounder next year (protected for top 3) and one of their good not great prospects (Akil or Kupari)?

I like Clarke and think hes great but Hughes is exceptional on the Offensive side.
