Why would he want a trade?

If Hyman accepts $32 mill over 8 years but receives $30 mill in the first five years that is a good pay day. With this type of contract he gets traded for year six then bought out by the new team and resigns in TO. That is if he is still able to play after five years?

For Reilly you can do the same thing only at about $48 million.

Kerfoot is one cap casualty for sure but they need to sign another goaltender at $3 million or less.

This is all without doing some three team deals to get lower caps.

I wonder if Coyotes would hold $2 mill on Kessell so Kraken takes him then they hold $2 mill and trading him to the leafs? Leafs would have to give both teams picks and/or prospects but he would look pretty good with Marner and Matthews? People forget how good a passer he is. Might be a better trade deadline deal?

Tarasenko had 2 surgeries on his shoulder by team doctors. Both missed ligament damage that was discovered and corrected by outside Drs in a third surgery.

He doesnt trust them anymore apparently and isn't happy with the whole ordeal.
