Yes they could, and it could happen. But think all 3 get traded just before the NHL draft, maybe 1 before the Expansion draft. Sounds like Protection List could be hurting this, and how teams want to protect themselves with Eichel's injury. |

Kucherov and Killorn going to LTIR, cause stuff. |

Haven’t heard much about Vegas in the Eichel rumours lately. Watching them lose to the Habs, he may be just what they need. Maybe they are a bit of a dark horse compared to ANA and LAK. |

You don't need me anyway. You have Stutzle and Brady Tkachuk to keep you warm at night. |

I don’t know why people are so butthurt about the Tampa thing, if your team had the ability to do it, you wouldn’t be throwing a fit. So I think it’s all funny how many fans are angry about it |

I am not, didn't break the rules, just wouldn't mind squeezing a certain player out of them with the possible protection and cap problems. |

There there, so is Minnesota and a few other teams, just seems like Anaheim and LA are pushing the hardest. |

I wasn’t calling out anyone here, but the majority of fans on social media calling it a cup*** |

Come on LA. Offer up Byfield, 8. And one more solid piece… toss in whatever cap dump you’d like….
I’ll even consider adding an olo (depending on said 3rd piece). And/or a Pilut’s rights.
You know you want to LA…. Jack will be fine. And your pp will be glorious…. Be like Mike and just do it. |

Well within the rules, tis very suspect that they were 18 million above the seasons cap.
Me thinks the league will do something to fix that issue.
+ They're already a state without tax because ya know... drug money

Sam Reinhart will never be more valuable than he is right now. If you can keep him, great, just make sure it's for a very long time. A one year deal is totally unacceptable and I want to be sure they know that.
Sam's next contract according to Evolving is a 23% chance for a 5 year deal at 6.9M. Every other probability is lower than 23%. Next highest is a 3 year deal at 17% chance, which would be about 6.8M. The cheapest deal would be one year at 5.5M, for obvious reasons.

His next contract in Buffalo would probably have to be 8 years, $17m per year to get him to stay

He wants that long term deal. He deserves it. We toyed with him for to long. Should have signed him for 8 years last contract

I just want to know what Tom Brady did for each city he lives in to have all the success with every sports team they have.
Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins, Pats
Now
Rays, Lightning, Bucs.
He sold his soul, the only thing i can think of. |

What if he likes the meatball and the kids?
Maybe he really doesn’t like Jack’s leadership and he sees a chance to be captain of the kids….
Would he take 8 years @ $7 per? $8 per?
I am guessing he is gone… but it’s an interesting thought. |

Eliotte Friedman said it best last night after the game. The league could have fixed this nearly a decade ago. They didn't. The rule was there, and so was the precedent.
Any complaining about what Tampa did is jealousy, nothing more. |

Bet they'll fix it now. Rather, next negotiation.

They'll close the gap somehow. What people don't realize is that it's a very player friendly rule. It allows more guys to get paid. I'm not so sure the Union will roll over so easily on it. |

I honestly believe it would take $10m to keep him. That's how done he is |
