I agree, but all he needs to do is prove he's healthy and his price goes up. His worth is probably the lowest it will ever be right know it only goes up if he proves he's healthy to play again. - Buff36
Why does he care if his price goes up?

Probably doesn't, but the guy is still a competitor. |

If you force him to waste another year here, I think things get ugly. As much as a healthy, productive year would help, anything less hurts. |

It hurts more than a guy coming off an utterly injury-riddled season, who still isn't healthy, where he scored as many goals as our big ticket free agent?
I disagree. He's a competitor.
He'll come back, have a great year, but, alas, in that division, they won't make the playoffs. So their season ends in April. Gives Adams the rest of April, May and June to facilitate a trade.
Color me "not worried". |

The price may actually be highest at the draft in 2022 just prior to his NTC.

I almost wish the Sabres would call Eichel's bluff and refuse to trade him. Let him go to the KHL and waste there if he wants to sit and pout.
(frank) him sideways.
Stop letting these entitled athletes get their way - you signed a contract, mitch, honor it and be a dude or go to Putin-land.
We don't have to pay a contract to a player who isn't playing. Problem solved. Show the young players this is how selfishness will be dealt with.
I forgot team was spelled ECHL. |

It could and just might, but Adams is running a Hockey Team "well hopefully" and needs to stand for what he thinks helps that team the most, not sell for 60cents on the dollar cause of a female dogy Millionaire who is still under team control for 5 more years if they so choose and really can't do much about it. |

Before this injury, he hasn't exactly been an iron man....and this injury still hasn't been addressed. You're really not worried about him missing significant time this season?
If your plan is just to to try to trade him after next season, it's a massive risk.

Sure is, and it's a risk I wouldn't take. It's not like they didn't know this was coming either as they were tempted to trade him last offseason, but chickened out. |

So what would be a good 3rd piece added
Mclaughlin Perreault Dostal or maybe a sneaky one like Lacombe. |

At the end of the day, I think they get an acceptable offer. Some of these rumored deals are pretty close.

If that's from today, Jack seems to be moving his head in certain ways pain free!! - Buff36
He has been golfing the entire time, he is a gigantic pile of crap. Last I checked, you can't golf with a herniated disk in your neck but what do I know? I'm just a douchebag with beady eyes who was sent by Ottawa to completely gut your organization, and boy did I. |

Depending on the offers this year (he isn't healthy, right? This may be scaring off some teams and/or have other teams offering less), it's a risk Adams might have to take, lest him giving Jack away for peanuts.
He'll hopefully weigh everything, and make the right call. No pressure, lol. |

They are looking to keep Reinhart. - SABRES 89
Not surprising, but word on the street is, "he gone." Send him out west, maximize the return and take heart in the knowledge, that no matter how bleak it looks, it ain't as bad as 2007. |

Yes, because golf and hockey are practically the same game, you get hit by a guy running full speed all the time walking down the fairway, and the green? forget about it, it's a death trap. |

Well a herniated disc usually affects one of your arms, and moving that arm in certain ways makes you pinch the nerve more, so yeah I could see Golf being painful with a herniated disc. |
