Doubtful. Take Kerfoot and give the Leafs a 4th round pick for the Giraffe.

Or they can do it the other way around and give a 2nd for Kefoot

Im no expansion expert but the NHL has been dumb in the past...maybe you need to have a certain amount of players signed as well

I think it's the "bit crazier" bit that I'm not quite sure of. There's 55 years of pent-up failure and frustration that could be a powder keg ready to explode.

Plus, with all due respect to the Raptors, Leafs fandom is orders of magnitude larger than the Raps.

I'm thinking some burning cars is inevitable but I'm just hoping it isn't Vancouver 2.0.

All kinds of events, World Series, NBA wins, NHL game 7 losses, the Purge provide license to act out. Maybe the larger fanbase universe and greater meathead ratio would make craziness more likely. I sort of doubt the longer wait would be that much of a factor since most car flippers would t have been waiting 55 years

Im no expansion expert but the NHL has been dumb in the past...maybe you need to have a certain amount of players signed as well
