How much did he really think Tim Hortons was going to have on hand at 8am in the morning
"Give you all your money" They come back with 500 timbits and $20. Did he then get angry because they gave him mostly original flavor? I could see someone being pissed about that.

probably because they never expected to pay to the cap. But yeah, the problem is the CBA and not Tampa using it. - Canada Cup
It was circumvention through and through, don't try try to tell us they couldn't play weeks or even days before the playoffs.
They magically healed a day before the playoffs start.
Willing to bet even that headline is wrong, stabbed to death infers multiple wounds.
And why would the police send their dog in if the car was boxed in?
I donât either. They put him in the wing he started to score. Montreal flipped out with him going to the front of the net remember too. He IS a good skater, can chip in goals, and big body in front of the net. He just lacks the meanstreak to use that size. He isnât a checker. Think Antropov or Poni in the past.
BUT put him with Tavares and Nylander? That COULD have some decent potential. He is also cheaper. Robertson can push him to perform there too. If it doesnt work out upgrade later.

Itâs not whether I could tell you whether he could play. All that matters under the CBA is what the team doctors say. They shared medical records with the league who reviewed them and said everything was cool. Itâs a stupid system that allows Tampa to do what they did but what they did is completely consistent with the CBA.
Bill Daley said they could fix by requiring the cap to apply during the playoffs. It would need to be negotiated into the next CBA, however.
VICTORIA -- British Columbia's police watchdog is investigating after a man was shot and killed by police in Campbell River on Thursday morning. A police dog was also killed in the altercation.
Mounties say the incident began just before 9 a.m. when Campbell River RCMP officers attempted to stop a vehicle related to an outstanding warrant. Police say the vehicle then fled the scene.

Is it really going to be unbiased if the police watchdog investigates the killing of a guy who killed a fellow police dog?
FFS, dogs are pack animals. They always support each other.

No. He sucks. Period.
Here's a novel idea for a team that just got punk'd out of the playoffs in the first round yet again......
Let's try guys from the Marlies or free agency that can check and play men's hockey.
We can't keep non-hitting players in the line up if our top guys are soft and not hitting either. We just can't any more. We've been soft for too long.

Except there's a clause in the CBA that says that basically if they feel that you are circumventing the cap, they can take action.
That's how Bettman rejected the Kovalchuk, even though it was technically legal according to the CBA.
Everyone knew there were going to be medical miracles in Tampa on day 1 of the playoffs, but Bettman and company sat on their hands.
