Actually yes. You’d have to be the dumbest moron to think that someone who missed an entire season because of surgery comes back into a lineup and he’s already guns blazing on his first game when all other players around the league needs to be sent down for conditioning stints or takes about 10-15 games before getting their groove back on and I’m not talking about 3rd liners but stars as well like Crosby, Malkin and others.

But the thing is here is that you win a cup because of the depth of your team (look at the players stats in the final) The same depth TB won’t be allowed to have anymore next year because everyone will have to go. Now add all of that with a cocaine driven star acting like they deserved all the respect possible while settling accounts with people that had nothing to do with you winning. I’ll just take on Fleury who must be laughing right now, just because he won 3 cups. There’s an expression that players at this level used to say. Being humble in defeat like in winning. Well he fractured his rib. Mayfield intentionally tried to injure him by crosschecking him hard in the ribs. His play dipped dramatically after that crosscheck.
