Hell, even in my beer leagues we know the line not to cross, and if we cross it : we take it like a man and apologize. . - MightyPee
I would LOVE to see this, please send footage of beer league players apologizing to each other for "crossing the line". There's probably more evidence of big foot than that.

You're not so bad yourself seeing as your team is missing a cup or two (in the past 40 years )
LOVE the banter! You've been fun. But I'm out! Unlike Kuch, stay classy and start thinking of excuses for when your team doesn't win the cup next year. Going to have to refill the cup with those tears again! |

So much butthurt, ass anger, and rectal rage over Kusherov.
Show me on the doll where Kush hurt you.
99.9% of the people pissmoaning about Kush have no dog in the fight. No standing to whine about it. You still wake in the morning, go to your hated deadend job, have no pot to piss in or window to throw it out of, drive a car with too many miles on it, stuck in a loveless marriage, and have failure kids who continue to disappoint you. None of that is Kusherov's fault.
But, I guess whining on the internet is good salve for the butt that hurts. |

of course you're gonna say I'm just a salty habs fan, but I don't see anything wrong with players always being respectful towards fans all across the league. There’s already plenty of hate to go around between the players on the ice and fanbases outside the rink as it is without having a pro hockey player publicly dis another organization’s fans. Players can have personality and boast about their own team and city all they want without actually being disrespectful to anyone. Showing class is never a bad thing. But please, carry on with the bullpoop lololl |

The problem with this opinion is the small percentage of fans from every team Lightning included who go above and beyond being classless threatening the players and their families on social media. There are posts on Kuchs Instagram making fun of his kids appearance, threatening to assault his wife and kill him. It's the problem with social media... its anonymous and allows outlets for these demented people. I honestly don't blame any public figure if they want to rant about so-called "fans". He was drunk and a little frustration came out... for the 99% of good fans the 1% can sure cause a lot of pain and some liquid courage and not his first language we saw some of it. Interesting dynamic and times we are living in.

The first rule of cheating is to try not to get caught cheating. So the only proof fans have is circumstantial evidence. Drawing a conclusion that a team did not cheat because there is only circumstantial evidence does not prove they did not cheat.
It’s not speculation. The LTIR rules require players to be removed from the list immediately when healthy. Kick skated for weeks in a full contact practice Jersey but wasn’t cleared at the end of the season. The playoffs came and game 1 he’s healthy. Remarkable coincidence?
It’s fine if you don’t have a problem with what transpired but it’s silly to pretend this isn’t what happened and it’s silly to dismiss it as butthurt. The team circumvented to cap and likely other teams have used LTIR for the same purpose.

Tampa played on an even field regarding post season cap. I do not have a problem with it today.
But the NHL needs to stop it. It is only a matter of time before it becomes a problem. Some team will purposely manipulate the rule to win. Then it will become a big problem.
.....i like Kucherov too and his comments. It was a nice win. They are a dominant team with back 2 backs. A modern day dynasty |

just for the sake of the argument I’ll try to understand what you’re saying here… so Kucherov’s comments are acceptable because 1- “he was drunk and a little frustration came out” (which is basically an excuse for anyone doing or saying dumb poop) and 2- this is his way of retaliating against the “1% of fans that can sure cause a lot of pain”…? wtf lol.

Who defines healthy according to the CBA? Tampa’s doctors. CBA also requires them to share the medical records with the league who reviewed them. If the doctors who have been treating him say he’s not ready to return to play, that’s it. No outside doctor is going to review the records and say otherwise.
The problem is the CBA not your remarkable coincidence.
You can’t define cheating on the basis of what you think the rules should be. You need to define cheating on the basis of the actual rules, you know, the CBA. Sorry if that doesn’t fit. |
