sure, but I would not give a pick to Seattle so they could pick a good asset.
They could flip him at the TDL for another first rnd pick (my guess).
Learn from Vegas. Do not trade with Seattle. |

Allen unless we end up with a Chaudron as a back up.
The thing is if we lose Chiarot, we don't know what we will find as a top 4 D.
One ''solution'' would be to grow Romanov in that role. |

ça serait drôle en criss qu'ils embauchent un Québécois ou un Français et que son nom de famille c'est Chaudron
and yeah in an ideal world Romanov would become the successor to Markov lol |

he might become a top4, but not next fall. it will take a few years imo.
you maybe right. it's probably easier to find a good backup than a top4 pmd.
habs could also protect 8 skaters. the top4 dcore and 4 forwards. Gally, Toffoli, Anderson and kk. |

MB mentioned during his presser that due to players hitting bonuses, they went over the cap and will have consequences next season |

let say SEA take Chiarot, with Tatar and Drouin out, that's 14M out the door. no cap problem what so ever. - fidopro
I use to come on here once in a while and just read the articles and comments. Who was the guy that was always tabulating the potential cap numbers endlessly. I think you guys referred to him as the csp calculator. |

Thing is, tampa was cap compliant during the season, and the cap doesn't exist during the playoffs. However, a lot of entry level deals are loaded with playoff bonuses, so players are getting paid, and since you can not retroactively make a team cap compliant it must be paid the following year.
This year's final saw two teams over the cap. |
