Agreed, but IMO they absolutely have to walk away with a prospective, viable 1C out of these trades. It is why I would try to create packages of players, i.e. Jack and Olo...hold 50% of Olo. Gotta get high quality here...or count on Top 3 pick next season, which is not a smart PLAN.

Bolster the top 6 and top 4 depth with any trade. I was on the "your top prospect or bust" train, but different hypothetical packages have their advantages. I definitely need their first round pick, and depending how far back said pick is (Vegas?), I'm going to need more.

I agree with what you said above, except I'd want 2 possible 1C players. That's also why I would take Beniers 1st overall and target Anaheim as the trade partner for Eichel and take Eklund with the 3rd overall.

We have a future 1c in Cozens. Need an interim 1c IMO. Landing 2 is a short term solution unless we can really pull off a winner

Doesn't mean that Doesn't change 39, this week is going to be who is willing to go that extra piece to make a deal happen. There's stories out there that the Rangers are getting ready to up there offer. It's getting down to the nitty-gritty, and it looks like for right know Adams isn't budging as he shouldn't.

If the package for Eichel is not setting us up for 5 years, keep him. It has to include 5 star prospect(s), multiple picks , and maybe a top 6 ready or why trade him?
