If they can't get what they need to be comfortable making this trade, they should keep him.
Which begs the question, how bad is it really and what is the estimated time table for recovery, if they hold tight to the "rest and rehab" method?
At some point, you're either all in on the "R&R" or there's got to be a deadline for surgery so you can get him back.
Unless...oh boy...Adams doesn't care when Jack comes back next year, aka, stealth tank. - Powerslave
Agree, think you're starting to push that deadline know with Surgery even with the disc replacement surgery. That UFC fighter Wiedman who had it still took 5 months to be cleared to fight again and his recovery went pretty right on schedule with no setbacks. |

Don't think he's fine, but he looks to be moving better. - Buff36
I agree, he's not fine. This whole injury thing will affect any potential trade for him and the return won't be what we all hope it will. Eichel will then somehow be even better next season - and beyond - for whatever team he's traded to, making us look foolish once again.
This is the way.

Teams have private investigators
And if talking about a player like eichel and cost to acquire him. You can bet they no exactly what he's been doing this summer.
I hate the unsubstantiated rumors
But with a bag of white in ur pocket
He could golf with no pain |

Yes everyone is different with how it interferes with your life. But if true with Eichel playing golf could affect his recovery or do more damage. Really just don't know. |

Correct, there are no such thing as the same spinal surgery success.
My wife had her L5 S1 fused in her back the same that Tiger had I believe.
She can't walk without a cane and Tiger is out winning golf tournaments
Obviously not the same physical attributes but she was a college lacrosse player
She was also much younger than Tiger when it was done |

From Buffalo
C Jack Eichel
C/LW Zemgus Girgensons
From Minnesota
LW Matthew Boldy
RW/LW Kevin Fiala [RFA Rights]
C Connor Dewar
Victor Rask (To even cap space, exposed in expansion draft)
2021 1st round pick (MIN)
2022 1st round pick (MIN)
To Calgary
C Jack Eichel
To Buffalo
LW Matthew Tkachuk
C Connor Zary
2022 1stt Round pick (Calgary)
C Emilio Pettersen
To Anaheim
C Jack Eichel
To Buffalo
2021 1st (3rd overall)
LW Maxime Comtois
RW Troy Terry
C Sam Steel
RW Jacob Perreault
To Vegas
C Jack Eichel
To Buffalo
C Peyton Krebs
RW Alex Tuch

Would've liked Karlsson instead of Stephenson but he has a MTC so he obviously would have Buffalo on any list...
Thoughts?
