You are all missing the point - If you're mad at the team for how they handled your neck injury, and want surgery, and somehow can't play hockey but can play golf, go swimming, do numerous outdoor recreational activities, drive your car, do anything... it sounds to me like you aren't injured.
If you can't play hockey or shoot the puck, you can't play golf or swing the club, it's that simple. - 3rd GM's the charm

Shooting a puck and swinging a golf are similar but not the same, plus there is more impact/vibration up your body when shooting a puck - Stripes77
The fact of the matter is none of us know. But given this twat Eichel's history, I really am starting to believe this injury isn't that serious.
He wants to hurt the franchise more than they already have been. Kicking us while we are down.
I was on here over a year before the PSE stuff leaked about how toxic it is to work there, telling you guys about it. No one believed me. I dropped information on Hutton's injury, no one believed me. That info leaked about a month later.
I have been saying for a few years now that Eichel is and has been the biggest problem in that locker room since day one. He is an entitled piss-pot who has had the team cater to his every need and desire and he puts them on blast like this?
The worst part is they have to do "what's best for the team" and maximizing assets in and Eichel trade is unfortunately what that means.
I'd personally call his bluff and let him sit and rot or go to the KHL until his contract is up.

I get wanting to play poker and wanting to hold, but the Sabres aren't going to do that. They're taking the best offer they can get and trading him this offseason.
