James Olesiak has been rumored back to Dallas, but the D-man has some serious admirers in the Canadiens organization....per a source, "He is a plan A player for Montreal...for sure.."
I don't know a whole lot about the guy but a "plan A player", really? |

Yup Italy did deserve to win that one...shame but England couldn’t keep the pedal to the metal and just kept defending, when you play like that and you have such a dreadful record penalty wise, you just deserve to lose.
As for the assistant coach, good question. Are we sure about Burrows taking the lead in Laval? Been in Football land for a few days so not sure if I missed something...
this year was the Lehkonen year for my team, the almost year...the Habs got to the final and lost, England cod to the final and lost...thank god I don’t give a crap from basketball and whatever lol |

no, it was rumoured, but it would make sense.
and even if Burrows remains with the Habs, they are still in need of an assistant, no? Muller was not replaced. |

no, nothing has been confirmed about Burrows yet. could be a good opportunity for Hartley as well if he's looking to get closer to NHL hockey... I'm guessing the Rocket's head coach needs to speak French too..?

terrible tactics sunk england. they sat back after scoring early. italy kept pressure on them the whole 2nd half and ot.
PKs are a crap shoot which is amazing when it so much net to kick at. |

could be, since he's a stay-at-home D... but a "plan A" player for MTL right now should be a puck-moving dman imho

yeah I think he was mostly playing on the 2nd pair, with Heiskanen? looking at the backend in MTL getting younger might not be such a bad thing

Only like 18 months age difference unless we are signing Oleksiak long term it won’t make a difference |

well I mostly referring to the scenario where the habs lose Chiarot and they replace him with Oleksiak, getting an older guy wouldn't be such a great strategy with banged-up/overused guys like Petry and Weber
