Tatar is all about the synergy with his center, it only worked with Danault in MTL, didn't work with anybody in Vegas. Who ever hires him needs a strong two way center.

I think I will have to side with Scabeh on that one.

The Danault line was a two way line with Tatar. Not so much when he was gone. Good player overall.

Can't wait for people to flip out when Zachary L'Heureux is available at 30th and we'll hear Timmins saying "Habs are proud to select, from the USHL..."

But seriously, has anyone looked through players projected to go bottom first or top second round? Is there anyone of interest? I feel from about pick 5 on, it will be more of a guessing game then usual this year. If we could package it with players or prospects to get a real good puck moving dman, I'd do it in a heart beat.

Scouts have data from previous years, but I think it will still be even more of a crapshoot. Some leagues didn't even play this year, and the ones who did restricted access to the arena. So most scouts had to watch games from bad video streaming from junior leagues.

Teams will still convince themselves of things the same way they always do. In football the 49ers traded 3 1sts and a 3rd this year to move up for a QB who played one full college season in 2019 and all of one game last year. Teams will convince themselves they have enough info or that their process is the correct one. Nobody should be surprised when it happens
