Buchnevich likely heading out due to cap issues is what I am going to guess Jimmy is thinking.

It's a tough spot to be in. I think I'd rather send Strome but then it's: Eichel/Zibanejad and nobody else. Buchnevich is probably more attractive for an acquiring team than Strome too.

Suter would check a lot of boxes for the Rangers. Decent vet defenseman on a short reasonable contract. We could do much worse ( see Jack Johnson )!
