Someone else mentioned Minnesota clearing space for Eichel, but that could only be if Buffalo is retaining salary and I can't see that happening.

I think it’s just his wishful thinking, I haven’t seen that anywhere. I’ve read a few articles AZ will likely trade him but not a single one linking him to NYR.

The Rangers and WPG make a lot of sense for a trade. WPG needs to get rid of a few guys that they can’t protect (Demelo or Stanley at D and Appleton at F) on top of having no depth on the RW. Not only can we offer them something for a player they can’t protect (we could protect that player) but they also need help on the RW, where were supposedly shopping Buch. It would have to be for a player on their list so they could protect him (maybe PLD?).

I don't they move PLD after just getting him. But he has said he does not want to play center, so it is a possibility
