stinger also brought up his name, don't know who he is but he coached the Voltigeurs de Drumondville as an assistant and les Tigres de Victoriaville as HC. not a great coaching record there but that doesn't necessarily mean he isn't a good coach

and apparently Gilles Bouchard and Éric Veilleux were also candidates for the Rocket head coaching job (who I think are both with the Syracuse Crunch lol)
