so people go there because they're homophobes so they support chick-fil-a?
hate is really (frank)ed up.
and i think it's a little pricey compared to normal fast food places that don't hate anybody. - kicksave856
It's the weird thing about cancel culture. Often it leads people to go out of their way to support something people try to "cancel" or that people go out of their way to support because they agree with whatever it was that led to that attempt at cancelation. Either way it's weird how people let poop influence their buying decisions |

also, i try not to eat there because of all of that.
but a gay friend of mine said it is delicious so he made a rule that it's okay to eat it if someone brings it to a work function or something, just as long as you don't buy it from them. i agreed to this plan because i like the chicken/pickle combo. - kicksave856

if they were smart they'd just go to mcdonalds and sit in a line for 30 fewer minutes so they can get home earlier to promote their hate speech and whatnot on the internet.
but i guess we've never been able to accuse racists of being real real smart before so this shoe kind of fits. |

I haven't eaten at McD's in a streeeetch but I'm super pro McD's lately with their push to have their minimum wage be $15 USD by 2024. Going to force all the players to do it and create livable wages at the bottom. Now make your food better and you'll be aces in my book |

I loved their shakes as a kid. Then they switched to the triple thick shakes which sucked and I haven't gone back.
Lifting people out of poverty and paying a living wage is something I can get behind though. It'll have a major impact on the industry especially when they're already having a hard time hiring out of the pandemic. You want workers back? (frank)ing pay them well enough to want to work for you |

Trying to figure out which corporations are the least evil (because they're all evil, almost legally required to be so, almost) is (frank)ing tough. Eventually you won't be able to buy much.
Still worth pointing out when one does something decent |

I am happy for the break.
poop is gonna be crazy starting the 17th for about 2 weeks, then we can bask in the rest of the summer.
Been really enjoying getting out every day, bike rides in the morning (when it is not 35 degrees or raining), not being stuck indoors.
Feels good, was a long long 18 months.
