I dont see on what planet we can let Chariot go

It will be Allen or Drouin (+ pick) for the Kraken

- Xizord

If you're Francis and the Kraken, do you want Allen or Drouin +?

We don't really get to choose.

There are better goalie options out there. Drouin? Not sure what his situation is. Quite sure Chiarot, Evans and Allen will be the top 3 on that ist.

Drouin would be a great pick for them. But what's his situation?

I don't know, I'm not going to speculate and if I'm Francis I stay away unless I'm fully informed

Chariot is a UFA next year...he's a short term gamble probably, same with Allen

For sure.

Worst case scenario they can probably flip him for something close to a first rounder.

He's probably got the highest trade value. One year at $3 and change for a guy who has shown he can play heavy playoff minutes effectively.

I like Allen. The Habs don't make the playoffs this year without Allen. Before seeing who other teams leave unprotected, just looking at the UFA list, I'm not sure if I'm Seattle that I want a backup goalie in his 30's. Maybe I'm wrong but I'd prefer Chiarot followed by Evans followed by Lehkonen. Argument could be made for Evans being over Chiarot

I don't think it's a bad thing either to try and get faster and more offensively skilled than Chairot. If anything was smart though, exposing Weber makes the most the sense because his cap vs what he brings isn't at all good.

An injured one handed Weber was incredibly impressive to me, regardless of age. I get the business side of it and don't necessarily disagree with exposing him but be careful what you wish for because the Habs don't have any current replacement
