I think its a steep price for 2yrs after this year, but with most of there main guys signed and cap suppose to back up after this pandemic & expansion team, they'll be fine. They had to discuss this before they pulled the trigger

He really just needs a coach who knows how to talk to him, let's him do whatever he wants on the ice, doesn't care what he does off the ice, isn't big on practice, and generally just allows him to run the team in order to thrive

For some strange reason if the isles dont land a big fish via trade etc, but there's def a connection of Parise/Suter coming here bc of Lou & Trotz. Totally forgot that Trotz had Suter in Nashville and since both like to play together, it all makes to much sense here on the island.

It all depends what Suter wants. If he's just trying to make the most money, it won't be here. If he wants to take a relatively cheap deal and try to win, this would be a good spot. If Leddy gets traded he'll step right into a top-4 role on a contender.

I am curious to why he would be upset.. unless there is zero communication from the team and his agent... Why would Florida not wait until after the expansion draft? It's just one more guy they have to protect. I feel like everyone is going to wait on UFA's until after the 21st... it would be absurd to not wait. .. unless u just don't have a lot of guys u need to protect.

I would be happier if we signed Suter than if we signed Parise. Especially if we move Leddy.
