Why would palmieri go to Montreal to be on a team that will miss the playoffs . Montreal got lucky if it wasn’t for covid restrictions the habnots would have missed the playoffs finishing in 10 place

It doesn't matter why! The bigger picture is that Ek continues to hear Montreal linked to Palmieri. He just reports what his sources are saying. Usually there are dominoes involved. So they sign Palmieri and then trade some other guys. Personally, I think Palmieri just stays in NYI, but Ek didn't list them. |

Suter is not better than Provorov. He is also not the perfect replacement for Niskanen. Niskanen was a RH shot and Suter is a LH shot who plays the left side. The Flyers need a RH shot to play with Provorov.

I'm not making fun of anyone. The Kuemper Sweeps sounded exciting but ended up being a dud. But I think the Suter Sweeps will be big. Ek reported that the Flyers are looking for a RD replacement for Niskanen. I think quite a few other teams would look to use Suter as LD. He's a versatile guy who could probably play 4C if necessary. As for the mask, I'm not making fun of anything. I put in time and effort to make predictions. So did many others. Asking for an update seems reasonable.

Steve Yzerman could get very creative with these guys and others. Sign them, retain salary and immediately trade them for assets. Genius. Even better is sign a couple decent goalies to short deals, wait until the trade deadline and find someone with a need for the stretch run. |
