So a 6th defenceman that is paid $$$$$, but plays 10 mins a game.

Got it.

- Mashadar

He played 25-27 mins in Edmonton

Come on he's not that terrible.
Like Scabeh is saying, he's a better Gustafsson.

Well he had good offensive numbers everywhere but one place.

Maybe because they didn't use their powerplay specialist on their first powerplay wave.

Maybe.

- Scabeh

He's a secondary assist specialist on the PP.

I hope they'll start trusting Romanov a bit more now. they kinda have to at some point if they want him to progress

No updates for Adam. I am told nothing new to report.

So, that must be good news.

Am I reading the information regarding the cap recapture if Weber retires correctly?.... that if he retires that at year 5 ( the last year on his contract), Nashville has a cap hit of over 24 million? I have to be missing something here, right?

or the 24 million is the total, which represents a yearly cap hit of 5M

If there are cap implication for the Habs if Weber retires (which I believe are minimal, but do exist - just cannot find the link right now), then yes, Ltir is better.
- Mashadar

Ltir isn't the same as cap space and the cap hit for the Habs is about $0.5m. Molson isn't paying millions for that unless he has no choice. LTIR is the worst scenario for the Habs

Nailed it. If he retired with one year left it would be $24m hit in that season
