You're right but I agree with SMP. Hyman's contract will look progressively worse and in 2 years, nobody will care about how good he was the past 2 seasons.

Hyman is the prime example of a guy who cashes in July 1 (UFA season.) He's gonna be yet another example why GMs need buyouts. Not that he specifically will need to be bought out but stack enough overpaid contracts (like the one he's about to get) on a roster and someone needs to go even if most are not "horribly" bad.

The great Zach Hyman, 5 points in 19 games over the past 3 years in the playoffs. An absolute playoff beast.
