Artem Ansimov would probably be a good fit as a fairly cheap, 4th line center. Had some injury issues this past year, and I think he's on his last legs but normally he puts up 30ish + pts. I heard he's Not much of a whiner either.

I don't think Van has any LHD with heft. Van has 32 games NHL experience between 2 of those LHD they have.

it's not impossible but there's a few factors that make things harder, namely, cap constraints and ep/qh deals.

these can be overcome but then it's also a matter of timing. you need to clear cap and get the deals done relatively quickly. that will allow them to know which players they can afford/target. i would imagine that the best value guys don't last too far into summer (but won't go first day either.)

jb will make moves either way. it's going to be an interesting summer.

I seen Nighthawk making a play for him on Cap Friendly . I am not a huge fan of his . He is a good player and all he just doesn't stand out for me but if they did make a move I would not complain.

if they do bring in somebody, make sure he's got the right personality to blend in. you don't want the russians (or any group) to stick together in a group.

Right now the nucks could sign Yandle,Hamonic,Suter,Edler and have a veteran aced D, with Demko and the youth in QH and Rathbone , Joelevi, Woo, we could compete nicely.
