Well, they could loose Armia and Perry too.
- Réal_Ruelle

true. I expect Perry to be back though.

Karine Hains: Could Shea Weber Be Done?

Oddly, the fact that Weber was 'done' two or three years ago only seems unknown to locals. It has been well known around the rest of the league for years.

Sam Reinhart might be on the block

I think he's a C-RW

so let say they lose Tatar and Danault (UFAs), Drouin to SEA, and Weber to LITR.
that's a lot of bidous to spend. and lot of holes to fill. aie aie aie

Is there any real chance Seattle takes Drouin instead of Allen or Evans? If I'm Seattle, Allen seems like a slam dunk pick to me, I'd say he's one of the better goalies exposed.

Bishop being exposed might change that.

I like Danault. Sober observation: he had 4 playoff points and in 75 total games this year he had 28 points, 6 of which were goals. I'm aware of the other areas Danault excels in but you need to be smart with your cap space and teams tend to pay for scoring not checking. I'd like to keep Danault but it has to be at a price that makes sense
- Takemedrunkimhome

Not a sober observation: Price makes 10.5M. This team does not pay for scoring.

I like Danault too but really, he is a defensive Tomas Plekanec. Phil is what he is: A very useful player but not at the price tag he thinks he is worth. I'd be happy to have him back at 4.5M or under but I don't think that is happening.

Be interested in seeing what the cost would be. What a shake up all this could potentially be in just a few weeks since they last played... mind blowing really 🤯

Buffalo would not trade him to mtl

and they would need to replace Weber anyway

I agree on both points. Doesn't change sportsnet's report

Suzuki is a keeper in my opinion.

KK is an interesting case as a RFA. He will be in rumors.

I wouldn't do Suzuki 1 for 1. Not because I think he's better, but because Eichel's hefty contract and health questions decrease his value.

Habs are not trading Suzuki.

KK could go as part of a package for a star centre, but I'd hold on to him. The best has yet to come.

For sure. Don't trade either one or Caufield..
