Habs are not trading Suzuki.
KK could go as part of a package for a star centre, but I'd hold on to him. The best has yet to come. - Scabeh
Carolina will offer sheet him.
For the right price, I would take the picks...maybe just to see them flip out for throwing too much money and see their "revenge plan" blow in their faces. |

It's not like Carolina has their own high value RFA that would be more prone to a big offer sheet. Oh wait... |

It's been reported by the athletic that Tarensko doesn't have Montreal on his 10 team trade list. Might have to look else where. Sutter appears to be wanting to stay in the states as well. This is where it gets tricky. Finding available players who want to come to your team. |

the run they had will help, but losing too many pieces could hurt |

Question for you all this morning... Are the Habs better with Danault or Landeskog in their lineup?
If Weber is out (+$10M ) and Danault gone (+$5M that he apparently refused...), maybe we have the money to sign Landeskog + something good to patch Weber departure... |

Weber's salary cap hit is $7.8m and as of now his salary is still on the books, LTIR and cap space aren't the same thing. But facts/schmacts right? |

Darren Dreger on @TSN690 says that if Marc Bergevin wants to make a deal with Seattle not to take Jake Allen in the expansion draft the price would be either a top prospect + a good draft pick (2nd/3rd) or a first round pick + a later pick. |

I would give Primeau a chance at backup to start the season(OctoCup time) even if his Dad played for Philly..
If it doesn't work out trade for a cheap vet. |

We've gone the cheap vet route for years, didn't workout well for us.
If we do lose Allen, we'll need a backup that can hold the fort if Price gets hurt.
If he fails, you try Primeau.
