That lure has been cast many times in the past 2 years. It absolutely bewilders me that they would use him as a cap casualty. Go get a 5th round pick for Roussel and a 2nd round pick for Schmidt. Jerkoffs. - TheSabresTaco
Boeser is Eks new Malkin. Van isn’t interested in moving at all, but Boeser needs to be “the man”. In other words full of poop |

I don't understand the fascination with this kid. I really don't. The pedigree I guess. Risto's value can definitely be used more efficiently. - TheSabresTaco
He has a lot of talent, but has been injured through most of his career.
He is the type of player Adams should be trying to get his hands on while building through the draft.
He is another lottery ticket at this point, maybe he never lives up to his 2nd overall draft selection but that doesn't mean he couldn't be a good 2nd line winger |

Alex Edler would be a nice vet addition for a year or two but I’d think he would want to go to a contender |

Fine. Give them a third or fourth round pick. Or as a sweetener to a Risto deal. Him as any kind of main piece is silly. Like you said. Lottery ticket.

Mr. Injury might actually accept a decent deal to Buffalo, considering how unreliable he is.

Patrick and a 2nd for Risto at 50% retained would be pretty solid IMO

Friedman already basically put that to rest, said a team asked for Boeser in return on a trade. |

Do they need to play it at all? Honest question. - Sir Tindoom
No they dont. And they can quit with all the flyovers as well |

Borgen is mostly likely a number 5 d-man.
It’s not the end of the world if Seattle takes him but I mean if they take Miller that would be preferred.
Either can be replaced. - Pegullaville
I think Borgen is on the level of McNabb |

Yeah I mean if it’s a one year deal I don’t see the harm. He’s the only one who defended well on a team that was god awful at defending and could be a mentor for Dahlin.
For the slim chance he’d agree to come here I’m not gonna debate for pages on the topic haha |

McNabb wasn't very good in Buffalo. He was big and slow, kinda clumsy at times and looked like a tweener/reserve player with bottom-pairing upside. He went to the Kings and got a lot of playing time with some excellent vets but they left him exposed. Vegas plucked him and paired him with Schmidt which turned into a very good pairing while anchoring the d-corps |
|
|
|
Why are we going after guys that are so injury prone…. We really can’t get anything better?
Patrick is never going to be anything more than a bottom six player and elder is way past his days.
Waste of time and assets |

He was still pretty young when he joined the Sabres, think he was 20 or 21 when they traded him. |

People were ready to write Casey off from that draft as well...look what happened in the right setting and the right coach |

He's 22, you don't know that. And a month ago people were here saying we would be lucky to get a 3rd or 4th rounder for Risto. |

Don’t believe a word from these shmucks. Don’t even believe a word from the guys on t.v. It’s all noise till somethings announced.
He can’t even get a full season under his belt. Glass menagerie that guy is |

Eklund from the Panthers had a rough go of concussions early in his career and he has been fine, other than blowing out his leg in a season which he was dominating
He did seem to have kicked his cookie habit! |

Pft. Risto at 50 and Bruins 2 for their 1st and Ghost.
(frank) em.
Voracek and 1 for Risto. - TheSabresTaco
Could we not have had Ghost for free… |
