Yep - often what is public perception and reality are two different things. BUT, the fact adams gave us state of the Sabres speech and never mention #9 means he’s got to be gone. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a deal in place, or close and the trade isn’t being made now cuz the acquiring team doesn’t want to have to use a spot to protect him. Sabres don’t have an issue with protecting him

I'm a delusional optimist, Boss. I think Donnie Meatballs is going to surprise people this year. He's gonna be like Teddy Nolan but with X's and O's. These guys are going to do better than the projected bottom-5 finish.

Get that man 2 goalies and watch what he can do
