You do realize that skating has nothing to do with a neck herniation (which only affects upper ext func, i.e. pain and numbness of the upper arms)? Jack skating means nothing...and teams with a medical staff know that. You should too.

Very lucky. They didn’t recommend fission back then, just rehab. Could have been much worse. I just lost a lot of mobility in my neck and I get horrible stiff neck all of the time. If I was a pro, it would have been surgery or retire.

Yeah I actually have 3-4-5 fused together. They used cadaver bones.I know what your talking about with stiff necks. But I am actually pretty good, have 85-90% motion, hurt when I was in the service.
