I would have protected Lind over Motte myself...
- Retinalz

Lind's skating needs serious attention...Motte's does not.

Although not in their prime any longer, there's some good players available to Seattle that will keep them very competitive their first year IMO.

Back when San Jose and Ottawa came into the league they had to build for 7-10 years before they were even somewhat competitive.

Not sure I'm liking this Epic Flash 3 wood off the turf. Off the tee it's money but fairway shots with it scare the crap out of me...see how it goes today I'm trying the new Callaway Chrome X LS (low spin) ball today in comparison with the new ProV1...

Gonna be interesting d=front to back 9 lol

I hit mine fine off the fairway but only use it on par fives with a little fade. I can hit it about 250 with the runout.

You like duos on lines like I do or players where you like them best?
- Nighthawk

Ya I like consistent pairs and then rotating in other wingers as needed.

250 off the turf is good distance. Have mine set at 14* and can only get around 240 out if it with run out. I might try the Taylormade Titanium SIM 2 it has adjustability and is super long I heard. We'll see. Plus a better shaft than the Epic.

They probably have a deal with Holtby or something. We have half a dozen Linds and you are going to lose somebody

I bought a Srixon Z-5 driver and love it, I'm going to buy the 3-Metal but I'm gonna wait until we get back to Arizona next weekend. Had to fly to Toronto for a 15 minute conversation with the US Consulate to clear some things up, friggin pain in the ass!!

Tarasenko, Ryan Johansen, Jake Voracek, Josh Bailey or Jordan Eberle, Nino Niederreiter, Joonas Donskoi, Max Domi....man oh man, Seattle can have a pretty decent forward group.

Probably a good reason why other teams did not go after Tarasenko and his remaining 15 mil contract. He has played 34 games over the last two years and has 7 goals.

Don't see teams jumping at Johansen or Duchene and their 8 mil contracts either. Vorachek scored 9 goals last year and 12 the year before.

There is a good reason why these names are on the unprotected list.

I like to think Erickson is a steal at a low 6 mil per year.

I've heard good things on the Srixon driver and the new Mizuno one. Many are playing Srixon balls too. Interesting if you change to another three wood. I might do the same.

What are you clearing up at the consulate? Is JT there sucking some UN Tit?

The Srixon ball is good too, my buddy plays it consistently and I've tried it on occasion. Another buddy custom ordered a set of the Z-5 irons, they're beauties!! Might get custom fit for those babies.

Without getting into the specifics, we changed our status so we had to go for a quick meeting at the consulate. $2300 for air tickets for a 15 minute approval

I think Seattle has been handed a list of Salary dumps and AHL players

Nothing to drool over here.

I agree, some of them are simple salary cap dumps, however, some of them still have game and aren't signed to long term deals. It'll be interesting to see what direction Seattle goes, competitive, or, patience with building in mind.

They only produced five albums so it’s hard to get folks to agree on which one is best. I think I like Regatta de Blanc better than Ghost. I like Synchronicity best but each album has its merits.

Great singles band that’s why their “best of” albums are their best sellers.

Ya true and I don't think Francis will have quite the leverage McPhee had with the 'side deals'. Same expansion draft rules and such but can't see Seattle being anywhere near as good as Vegas out of the gate. IMO

I don't think they'll be getting to the Cup final in their first year like Vegas but those guys still have some game left and they'll be competitive IMO.
