I don't think they'll be getting to the Cup final in their first year like Vegas but those guys still have some game left and they'll be competitive IMO. - LeftCoaster
Vegas got Fleury which was huge. Seattle won’t get anything near as good.
Just read that Pitts also paid Vegas a 2nd round pick to take Fleury. |

They only produced five albums so it’s hard to get folks to agree on which one is best. I think I like Regatta de Blanc better than Ghost. I like Synchronicity best but each album has its merits.
Great singles band that’s why their “best of” albums are their best sellers. - bloatedmosquito
For sure. I am lucky enough to have all 5 and the singles album on vinyl. I enjoy them all. It's just Ghost seems to get slightly more play in my house.

I think people here are also underestimating Seattle's flexibility. They're not just picking players and making a team, they have a TON of cap space to either take on more players, or sign UFAs. Francis seems a bit more creative than Honest Jim, so I think we'll see some interesting trades come down the wire. |

I think Holtby. They can get value out of him when a team gets desperate for a Goalie, or at the TDL for insurance. No risk with his contract expiring. |

If I remember right didn't Richardinson have a good playoff in 2020? |

I didn't lind on that list you posted. |

I never thought of that, Francis could have a deal in place for a player that a certain GM may want, like Tarasenko. |

I would laugh if Seattle took McCann after trading for him this yesterday |

Tarasenko at 50% (3.75) might be very attractive to some teams. |

It’s a goodie. When I was like 11 or 12 I had the Ghosts cover as a poster in my room for years. I had so many album posters then. Those and Farrah Fawcett, Heather Thomas, and Christie Brinkley posters. |

If he's cleared after his shoulder surgery I'd definitely take him. He's only 29 and he's only got two years left on his deal. |

Tampa didn't want to lose Cernak, obviously.

Can't blame them. That is an excellent group of defensemen. |

If you are Seattle would you take Klefbom knowing he will be on LTIR. He is a hell of a player if he gets healthy. |

It’s why Toronto made the trade. They know they’ll lose either Kerfoot OR McCann. Guess they figured this was cheaper than dealing with Seattle. |

Price? - 1970vintage
Maybe, but I don’t think Price is a Vezina quality goalie anymore. But he is younger than Fleury who just won it so Price could prove me wrong (which is not hard to do lol). |

Not a lot of depth in their farm system then just like Canucks. Would have thought Dumbass would be better than Benning but I guess not |

I guess they figured the price of acquiring a middle 6 W/C on a $3ish contract would be more expensive after the expansion draft than before. Just like the Canucks. I’m sure Richardinson would cost more than a 3rd under normal circumstances. |

Apples to apples, Fleurie at the expansion draft had just lost his job to Matt Murray, Price was a Conn Smyth consideration (until the final)
Just saying. |
