With so many teams in cap hell, I think the players that don’t sign right away are going to be at the dance with no partner. There are going to be some bargains like Hamonic last year. If the player feels Vancouver presents an opportunity to play meaningful minutes and can parlay the opportunity into a better contract when the cap increases, then we might be a good landing spot.
