I truly hate people that have that over the top loud laugh. Stop acting. You don't need to inform everybody you found something funny. Stop cackling like a drugged up witch.
But yeah, he who laughs last laughs best apparently |

I’d definitely pay Seattle a first round pick with a kid like Struble or another minor prospect to keep Allen. Not only did we have so much issues finding a good backup in the last couple of years but 1- Allen saved our asses this year or we couldn’t have gotten in the playoffs and 2- I do think he’s the reason on why price was so good during the playoffs with that much rest.
For Danault, he stated that it’s not the money but his place in the lineup. I wouldn’t be surprised if Bergevin waits for Seattle to chose theirs players and after that he would trade KK for an upgrade at D or top 6 winger. That would let Danault stay as the #2C on the team and make it easier to agree on a longer contract. |

Didn't read anything beyond this. Glad you're not in charge, that would be gross asset mismanagement |

yeah I would trade the pick for a defenseman like Ellis, but not to protect Allen.
I think they got him for a third round pick. |

I'm confused how my whole comment went bold rather than the text I have that should be bolded but this site never surprised me |

No backup goalie ever is worth a 1st and a top prospect. Struble is that big, strong, physical d man that helped the Habs this year in the playoffs. I like Allen a lot but not to the point of making utterly stupid moves.
If Ellis is a real option I'd consider a lot of assets for him |

His name came up here and there, like Hampus Lindholm.
I think it's possible but would take the first, +, +. |

Ellis has been on a downhill performance over the last 2 years. Without Allen, there’s no playoffs this year and even if we go in the playoffs next year. If Price played too much during the regular season he likely won’t perform in the playoffs. Don’t forget that our first pick this year is almost a 2nd round pick too. Struble has been more than injured a couple of times already. I don’t think he will live up to the expectations. Especially when we have depth at that position. |
