you were very nervous and anxious about losing allen. it may not happen now, so ypu should be happy yet calm. |

Well Quick waived his NMC. Doesn’t mean he will be pick. Seattle has to create the best team they can by managing a salary cap era. Tarasenko and Voracek if picked are already taking a bunch of it. Maybe Domi? Then all the rest of players. Price would be tempting but I’m not sure he’s the best pick with that contract. If so, Habs are release from Price & Weber contract and start over. |

Price just led his team to the SCF. He was not the only reason for this but the main one.
Quick was good in 2012. |

I understand that but what if Bergy exactly said that, Damn we got to the SCF because of our goalie. This mean our team is having many holes. Problem is the Salary Cap right now and we won’t come through without shredding any big contracts.
I actually don’t think Price is tradable. Maybe the only way is by getting picked by Seattle. |

I know it's a heavy contract but getting rid of what is arguably the best player on the team while he still has gas in the tank might not be such a great idea at the moment... |

There is never a good moment for that, if they want to do this we may become a Dallas team from a few years ago and we get a few snipers and puck moving D and try to outscore opponents every game |

Hearing that Carey Price has waived his no-move for purpose of exposure in the expansion draft so that the Habs could protect Jake Allen in the expansion draft. The thought is that Seattle wouldn’t want to pick up the rest of Price’s hefty contract. But I guess we will see.

how can one say that after the playoffs Habs just had?
people really think GMs would not line up to trade for #31? not all 31 of them of course, but many must be thinking... damn, with Carey in net we would really have a chance. ask the Leafs just for fun.
not saying we would get the moon in return, goalies usually go for cheap. but to say he is not tradable... |

oh well, maybe we're looking at a 5 to 6 years rebuild now. If it's no Danault, no Weber and no Price. I love Suzuki and Caufield but yeah. Ugly. |

He's not tradeable with nothing coming back
Some team will trade you THEIR goalie making 5,6, or 7 million dollars and some picks or prospects and see Price as a valuable upgrade, but if Bergy doesn't take their goalie back then the trade doesn't work |
