MAF makes 7.5M, that's 3M less than Price. money you can spend on a skater.
also MAF doesn't have a 5y contract. he'd be here as a buffer until Primeau is ready.

This story continues to evolve and percolate. I'm told as #SeaKraken continue to investigate Price's injuries, ownership has given hockey ops the full green light to select Price if Francis sees fit - health concerns and all. There is zero doubt they're considering it.

he've seen plenty. I have 0 worries about him able to handle Mtl.
and he is also good during the regular season. remember what a top goalie looks like in November and December?

I know it sucks to a certain extent, but if Weber is indeed done and Price needs surgery and a long recovery, then this is a good chance to reset, clear cash off the cap and use assets to rebuild with the kids.

I love what Carolina is doing (for the most part), Habs should go that direction.

They're treating the VGK/SEA expansion as the same class. They did the same with NSH/ATL/MIN/CLB. Was over 3 years, but treated as the same group

We always have a strong start I wouldn’t be surprised we are top team 1-2 weeks in and then fade away
