Part 2…If they are even able to get a deal done at or prior to the draft. Several of these teams that are rumored to be in on 91 Tell me that the conversations have been more exploratory than anything. A Carolina source told me “we check in on every avail player”. #stlblues

LE plus Schmidt for Subban plus Severson? Maybe the Canucks add a mid-round pick? The $$ works out to be about the same, and both Subban and LE expire next year.

I think the Canucks would have to add a bit more than a mid round pick to that.

I don't think I would touch that last year of that contract unless it came with a 1st round pick.
