exactly - when I said "Ideally" I meant hopefully they don't pick Lind but he's the obvious choice I think.
Pipe dream - It would be beautiful if they took Roussel or Highmore - Brooks_Light
I think its Lind or Macewan |

31 other teams, I bet at least half of them wouldn’t mind adding a top 4 dman as well. Easier said than done |

Was reading more on JD.
Curious to see how he is deployed when the roster is set.
I’m not thrilled about having JD as 3C and Beagle as 4C.
Ideally they can play together as a shut down line I suppose, with JD on the wing if Beagle is good to go. - dbot
D ickinson got top 6 TOI last year, quietly one of the better shutdown Cs in the league. Of course that defensive play will take a downturn when he switches to playing Van's style, but if you give him middle 6 minutes it will free Bo up to play some more offense. |

Man the Leafs seem to be in trouble in my view, key players are either locked up on short term high AAV contracts, close to UFA status, or are UFAs now. Maybe Campbell comes through in net but I don’t see it. Who cares about being a regular season team. I expect the Canucks will have more playoff success over the next four years (if JB can avoid tying his own hands with poor UFA signings). Patience Jim

The Canucks had more playoff success in the bubble thingy, than Toronto has had in years. |

I don't think its stellar but they're better than Holtby. Ideally, they take MacEwen, I think Lind has a higher ceiling and although we lose a much more physical player. Lind, Richardinson and hopefully Gadjo can replace that in the near future. - Brooks_Light
They aren't better. Just a different route for Seattle to take if they choose to do so. From what we have exposed they can get the most value asset wise by picking him. Which is why I think they will. The rest of what we have to offer are fringe players at the moment. |

FWIW, for those pondering the idea of Seattle selecting Price only to trade him back to Montréal, the Habs throwing picks/assets at Seattle for the Kraken to retain salary, etc: the NHL has informed both clubs that is a total no-go. League considers that a clear circumvention. |

I don’t get Canuck fans who look at teams like TO or San Jose and say “they are in a world of pain over the next X years” and yet are just fine with the direction of the Canucks. I have a tough time laughing or criticizing other teams when my own team is in such a mess. |

I bet they’re under the cap floor and will be aggressive on FA’s instead of blowing their wad on expansion castoffs. |

Only Seattle is allowed to be involved in trades, obviously theteam they are involved with, are permitted, only if it involves Seattle. |
