This story continues to evolve and percolate. I'm told as #SeaKraken continue to investigate Price's injuries, ownership has given hockey ops the full green light to select Price if Francis sees fit - health concerns and all. There is zero doubt they're considering it. - jimbro83
It’s hysterical they are considering him regardless of health. |

Wouldn’t it be the same? Brassard is like Strome a late 20s center at his peak. And brown is like Zib a young 20s center trying to break out? - TPC
Strome and Brassard are sorta comparable but Brown and Zibanejad are not.

It's because they know the health "issue" is horse poop. |

Well they were both 1st round centers in their early 20s lol. Just let me have this one, it works to well lol |

Like I said, I'm not against it but I don't see it happening. |

Why would they want an essentially average goalie that’s old and has a 10.5m cap hit? |

Gonna be tough to market him when he’s letting in goals in bunches. Drouin is the better risk to take imo. |

I agree that it's a dumb idea. Drouin would be a decent gamble like you mention.
Price is just so much money and his buyout money is atrocious. It looks like as high as 9-10 mil for 4 seasons if they bought him out next off season. |

Logan Brown for Strome is OK.
Drake Batherson for Strome is better.
Josh Norris for Strome is best. |

So, dumb idea time.
Georgiev gets traded. You bring Hank in to be the backup (if healthy) and let him finish his career in NY? |

I think he means cap circumvention in a more general sense. |

This way he never gets to put on a sweater for another team during an actual game.
League minimum, he already got his money. |

Hearing #NYR have made significant progress with newly acquired forward Barclay Goodrow.
Not finalized. Expectation is Goodrow will be a Blueshirt once the signing moratorium is lifted with a 6-year deal in $3.6m AAV range.

I like it but that seems kinda spendy. They should try to grab one of his line mates too. |
