I think the plan is for Francis to reunite Cary Price and P.K. Subban. Because he wants to poop out $19M for the buzz it'll generate.
Seattle plans on announcing their new inaugural season moto after the expansion draft which is: LET'S GET KRAKEN! Would anything sound better than that rolling off Cary Price's French Canadian tongue? |

I'm guessing Ronnee Frances is busy today taking advantage of his exclusive window to negotiate with UFAs. If I was Frances I'd be making the following calls today...
Gaberiel Landiscog
Alec Ovetchkin
Ryan Sutter
Brandon Suter
Zack Parizee
Dugee Hamylton
Brandon Sod
Frances could really build a solid roster just from signing a bunch of UFAs this week. Too bad Barklye Gaudreau is off the market.

There’s some good players available to pick from. It’s conceivable that their roster could be better then the Habs next season. - Hatt
Also conceivable that they can win a playoff round. Wild times.

I love Carey Price he is a great person. I think maybe he is ready to Move on from Montreal so he made this play. If I was Francis I would grab him. - Robeun
I think Price is married, if I were you I would move on. The worst thing Francies can do is grab Price......unless Price gives him permission.

I also am wondering who this Frances man is you speak of is. If you are talking of Ron Francis whom is the GM of Seattle I say he takes Price. Francis would love to stick it to the Habs as much as possible. Don’t forget even though it is was perfectly Bergevin did try to steal AHO from the Canes with that offer sheet a few years back.
For tomorrow’s post can you please let everyone know who is Frances man you speak of is please? |

I know I'm late, but how in the world is it possible for someone to misspell Francis a dozen times?
He had to do that on purpose...had to. |

Am I the only one who watched these playoffs? As long as Carey Price is rested he will perform at an elite level in the playoffs. With five years left on his deal, there is no way Bergevin doesn't have some sort of agreement in place with Francis. As long as Price has been the true number one, you have the feeling he's going to outplay the opposing netminder. The Habs now have some young prospects and the pipline is better than ever. He's not going anywhere. |

Last time Ek called the Kraken GM Rob and got backlash for it...he told himself "I will go safe this time and only use the last name" - Couldn't even get that right either. This is too much! Last time I ever click on this site! E5

What is the big concern here, other than Price possibly being injured and missing a good portion of next season. Price waving his NMC really gave the Habs all the room they needed. Of course they are not protecting Price, they will be needing Allen to start next year. If Seattle takes Price, hurts a bit, but a young goalie gets to back up Allen. Think of losing that contract....anyway, if Seattle doesn't take Price, then he gets better and comes back.....he is a pretty solid goalie, so they would be glad to have him back, eh? |

Why does autotype fill in Frances instead of Francis or France consistently?
Maybe the blog has become a self-parody. |

If I’m Francis, the decision is based on what is going on with Drouin and if it is felt that he can come back next year. If Drouin is likely good to go, he’s an excellent choice to excel in a low pressure environment. If not, MTL hasn’t exposed anyone else too exciting, so Price is the guy. - habtastic62
No way they take such a pile of deadwood off of Montreal's hands. Drouin is a dumpster fire who would get a league minimum deal if a FA. Just because Montreal gave up Sergachev for him doesn't mean he has any value left. |

Hiding in the weeds. Clearing a little cap space and probably getting ready to go FA dumpster diving. |

a lot of time wasted here speculating. Seattle takes him or they don't. if they do we move on with Primeau and a poop ton of cap space. |

This statement about the quality of Drouin’s play is not even remotely true. |

People are looking at this totally wrong--- most people say the only reason Montreal made it as far as they did was because of Price----- we are looking at it wrong--- it should be Montreal almost MISSED THE PLAYOFFS because of Price--- between injuries and his God awful stats--he was a trainwreck.
As a fan who bleeds red, white and blue-- I would drive him to Seattle if they picked him-- PLEASE PLEASE take him, only fans who think with their heart and not their brain would disagree with me.
For heavens sake-- if we lost in the first round this would not even be an issue---MY LORD - bigmacdaddy
Didn’t look to bad to me in the playoffs, best player on the team.
