The personal stuff I won't touch but he's earned enough already to create generational wealth for his family if he's smart with his money but either way he should be set for life. I hope he finds happiness if he's done with hockey and I hope that the Habs make every effort to support him long after he's left hockey

Hearing the Canadiens have been actively exploring the forward market, looking to add up front. One player they’ve inquired about is Anthony Beauvillier.

I’m not surprise. They wanna bring some French guys. Wouldn’t surprise me if David Savard sign here this summer. Hopefully as a 3rd pair and not Weber replacement.

Of course. But it's a real possibility.
And like that stupid idiot DoubleDown says, that's 5M that can be better spent.

Love Beauvillier, he works his ass off and has wheels.

Oh I think it's possible too. Seems like he stopped liking hockey once his natural talent didn't mean he was the best player wherever he went.

And certainly any player they use the 5M will be More value than what Drouin provided.

He is LW which they need, that does not replace Danault.

If he is gone....do they go with Evans and Poehling as the bottom 2 centers?

I think Evans may well be on track to replace Danault hopefully sooner than we think

I'm not ready to forget Danault's value so I think the gap between he and Evans is pretty wide as of today

According to Brian Wilde, Drouin is done with hockey

2021 keeps being weird

- Not_Yan

I guess the question is are we still on the hook for his cap or is this a mutual termination?
