Beer at the Bell Center for the 2021-22 season: $22.75

no matter how we try to rationalize this or put it into context, rich people don't like to part ways with millions of dollars for nothing.

I'm not ready to forget Danault's value so I think the gap between he and Evans is pretty wide as of today

Hot Take: Evans > Danault @ $6.5M.

Agreed, you can't give 6M$+ to a guy barely scoring 10-15 goals a year in his prime on the 1st line. No matter how good he is without the puck.

well look.. he's played at a 40-50 point pace for the most part since he's been here. that's low-end second line production i would say, but second line nonetheless, while being one of the best defensive forwards in the game. he's worth at least $5 million i would say.

I agree, he's worth 5, not 6.

you're probably right... but my question is, if he walks, does Montreal make use of that space or is it another Radulov situation where you lose a valuable player, don't replace him and the cap space goes unused?

it's not just money for him though, he wants a real #2 center job with PP time.

there is nothing on the market right now in terms of quality two way centers. He will get his money/terms IMO.

I say he plays in Boston or Seattle

Fleury is the logical choice IMO

I cant imagine Seattle being excited for guys that could not make the line up over Gustafson and Merrill...

oh crap, they will steal our goalie

the point is I don't think he ever actually talked specifically about the PP, not publicly at least.

I actually meant I don’t see there is any good position I see him on the PP. I don’t think his passing is that good to make the PP that effective. He is just playing hardball now with MB as he is only the only Quebecois on the team
