pretty sure they can find a .901 SV% cheaper.

If it was a year or two on his contract, i could see taking him. 5 years? With a flat cap for at least 3 more seasons? Its a terrible move that will handcuff a team.

- Gramps28

I think we will see playoffs Price during the regular season in SEA.
that is worth 10.5M.

this I could agree with. considering that Francis already mentioned he sees great value in having cap space he's definitely gonna think twice before grabbing him.

don't you find he looked tired, or disinterested the past few years? during the regular season I mean. his numbers don't lie.
so why become so good once in the playoffs?
he needs a new start, a new challenge. imho

so he became good only because it was a "challenge"? he's always looked disinterested, that's his schtick, "calm AF" demeanor lol...

looking cool, calm and collected I have no problem with. IF you stop the puck!
he wasn't. he was ranked 30+ across the league in all categories.

We’ll see I guess, but I didn’t want to jump at that kind of conclusion without knowing... So you don’t buy that Price just wants to make sure Allen isn’t selected?

People, I mean riskiest in Bergevin’s exec career so far...please use common sense

I think there is a chance that they pick him because of the home connection and the fact that he’s already a big thing over there not only because of his NHL career but his junior one. I wouldn’t bet anything on them picking him but we cannot say that’s impossible.

- Karine Hains

So your title was this was the most riskiest game of chicken ever.

You had a chance to clarify in the article, but also repeated this was the most interesting game of chicken ever.

But suddenly it's merely during Bergevin's tenure as GM and it's my fault for not having better common sense. Ok.

I’ll give you that, when asked in the playoffs how he’s always able to raise his game come Spring time, he said: it’s fun in the playoffs. Meaning it isn’t anymore in the season? That answer did sound a bit awkward to me.

Yeah that's definitely fair, Montreal is a pressure cooker, especially when you're not playing up to your contract which he wasn't until the playoffs.
- apex123

Let’s not forget it was Jake Allen that got us to the playoffs this year even though I have pissed on him giving up the first goal most of the time

very hard to come up with a clear answer, as we have yet to know officially about Carey's injury, Weber's injury, Danault's negotiations, and Drouin's situation... too many question marks for people outside looking in, hopefully MB has more knowledge than we do lol
- Pat1993

By the time we know about Price injury he will be with SEA likely

I don't know. would make sense. I'd like Vanecek or Kahkonen.
that too is probably all set up in advance.
heard Waite speaking highly of Kahkonen earlier today. he also said he expect SEA to pick Price.

Neither of those goalies are ready to be a No 1 especially in MTL

of course they are. don't forget, MB will have close to 10M to spend (just with Price out, not counting Weber and the others) on a dman or a #1C.
people overestimate the difficulty for a goalie to play in Mtl.
it's not Mtl, it's because they don't have a team!
build a team and the goalie will do just fine.

Is Price up for a "signing bonus" of $11M this fall?
