What if I walked up to you and said hey man, would you like 35 million or 49 million dollars?
What would your answer be? - Cptmjl

Well yeah, but you’re notoriously frugal and don’t curse. Therefore your judgement in such matters can’t be trusted.
Now if you’d just say the word “(frank)”, then maybe Landeskog and I could begin seeing things differently. - Wildschwein
The scene from Wall St greed is good is lost on me. |

My answer would be to look you up and down and ask what gawdawful acts were required for each. - Wildschwein

The HockeyBuzz expansion draft held last Fall by Sean Maloughney left Bailey exposed and had him as the player taken by Seattle. It can't be that big of a surprise that he wasn't protected. |

Doesn’t seem to be ok with Landeskog… - Cptmjl

Was he the guy that took out Nancy Kerrigan's knee? |

Hopefully both in a deal!
Either will work for me.

If I am Seattle, I am looking at Bailey the hardest. To take Ebs, I would guess there would have to be a pick thrown into the mix.
Good job on Lou tho. Leddy+Ladd+two 2nd's for Panik and a 2nd. Freeing up 8M, and not losing much in terms of usable talent + a 2nd is an A+. Well done. If you are lucky, you will lose another 5M AAV deal via expansion, and Lou can retain Palms, and look into the recent Minnie buyouts. Brilliant. |

Eberle still has enough value where I can't imagine Seattle wouldn't take someone like Bellows along with him. Bellows will probably get minimal money, if not the least allowable by the CBA and Eberle still has plenty of gas in the tank. Wouldn't be surprised to see Aho swapped with Bellows in that scenario either. |

I’d say either Bailey or Bellows.

On a team of pass-first players, I could see Lou preferring to keep Eberle. |

I know he said he was disappointed that a deal was not getting done. Thought it was because they were too far apart on money & term. Who knows but them. |

It's my impression that he's a decent 2-way player, too. |

You love and trust Lou but you want him to trade two top six forwards for nothing that HE SIGNED to deals you obviously view as bad deals just two short years ago?
