Holtby not selected by Seattle
Driedger (fla)
Daccord (ott)
Vanacek (wsh) - Codes1087
Daccord 8s a good pick. Still waiver exempt. |

I want to wait until petey and Quinn are signed so we know how much $ we have to work with. Everyone predicted holtby and his cap would go, and now it's staying, so we have even less room to work with. But again, we lose edler, hamonic, sutter, but we still have LE, virtanen, Beagle, roussel. Lots of $ tied up in bad players still - Codes1087
You are guessing at all of who will be here? You are also guessing who Seattle will take . Tell me who is Seattles top center? Who is their top goal scorer , who is their top point producer?

LeBrun notes that the NHL sent out a memo two days ago reminding teams that only Seattle could talk to free agents during its exclusive window and that teams had to wait until July 28 to approach other team's free agents.

I hear the price for Risto is a 2nd round pick and a very good prospect. - manvanfan
Hard no on him - stay away from all Buffalo players that have been there for more than a year |

Would you rather have Barrie at 50 points per year (plus Keith) or keep Larsson to be injured all the time for 5 more years. It's actually a good thing Larsson moved on from the Oil. Past few seasons he's battled a few nagging injuries too. - LordHumungous
40 of barriers 50 points are drop passing the puck to mcdavid at the blueline on the PP. He was one of thr worst defensive defenseman in the league last year at 5v5.
And Larsson finally lived up to his potential at a elite defensive dman last year for the oil. Losing him is awful for the Oilers, not good. His offense wasn't there, but he was great defensively, which is what they needed. |

Seattle is poised to be a good team. Vancouver is still treading water in the bottom half of the league. At least they extended Pearson. |

I remember Calgary last year having Markstrom who I think is better than Dreiger and a top pair of Gio and Tanev which is very comparable to Gio and Larsson. |

Can't see it. Two best players in the league made the PO's last season no reason to think they'll be out of the PO's anytime soon. Trust in Holland. - LordHumungous
If you win 0 games in the playoffs, are you really in the playoffs? I suppose that's marginally better than losing in the play-in thing the year before and never technically making the playoffs. |

Do you mean Larsson?
I agree about Dreiger, not sold on him. |

Yanni gourde selected from Tampa
Looks like they got their top line center.
I would have thought they chose palat, but still a good choice. |

As I have mentioned before, Larsson is a good comparable to Tanev, just not quite as good. |

Center wins unless winger is clearly better. The right choice.
I also wonder if they have a trade lined up with Tampa tomorrow |

They will learn from that sweep and three of those games were OT that could have went either way
They were the best team in Canada at 81 points when the flu thingy hit and 'technically' there should have been no 'play in round'. It's not their fault the league manufactured that stupid play in round lol |

I really hope Canucks get Hyman . I don't expect a lot of goals by him but instead a lot of tenacity and a solid two way game . That would be a very good top 9 .
When I see rosters set up with Highmore Zack Roussel Hawyrkluk Motte I face palm. God I hope they are all gone.

He wasn't until this past year. His numbers defensively were incredible. No matter how you spin it, it's a loss for Edmonton. |
