To be honest at this stage there’s so many different reports out there that i’ll only believe the final number when he signs somewhere. I really do think it’s over in MTL though and if MTL gets no cap relief they’ll be in trouble with an incomplete centre line and help needed on D (PMD) and more attack...won’t be easy

I think you’re the only person i know who is totally at peace about the possibility of losing Price for nothing (but cap space of course)

Sadly I’m also up for it. I don’t think Price with all theses injuries will bring us back to the finale. I think it’s time for a change. Habs have young guns, a good core of vets and a ton of cap space. Either you trade/sign UFAs and get back in playoff or you get bad contracts with assets/1st picks or prospects. Next year is also the next McDavid coming up.
It’s going to be a hell of a summer and I do think Bergevin is going to surprise us (hopefully in a good way lol!)

Actually I wouldn’t be surprised about a move like this. Bergevin has a ton of cap space and he knows we are in need of a puck moving D. Risto is also huge but a gamble. We will see.
