Hi kick, I would like you to know that I am the only one to have a genuinely rational opinion on the topic. And that I'm not trolling because a lot of people think just like me.

i like your take. it was well thought out.

i think everybody is going to feel some kind of way and a lot of opinions are going to differ from one another's.

it's a fun day though. i can't wait to see who they take from all of our teams.

despite the injury risk and the contract, i simply don't see how Seattle doesn't take price for the marketing aspect and star power. Can you imagine how many jerseys they would sell?

would not pay up his 11 millions bonus

Vegas put a good team on the ice and that should be the goal

His wife is also from Washington state and her family still lives there, he's a BC guy which isn't that far either.

11M$ in jersey sales is a bit of a stretch IMO

No, he's the same player he was 5 minutes ago, 5 days ago, 5 weeks ago, 5 months ago. A mediocre #4 who doesn't score much but can be somewhat physical that's likely about to get overpaid

2 problems with that argument. first, Carey Price has the public personality of a dead moth. he's not interested in nor capable of being like MA Fleury or PK Subban. so his star power there is very limited. he's a brand name and that's about it. secondly, he won't be around for the franchise's start and he misses a lot of time with injury, which further erodes his star power.

Guy finished 5th in the hits last season. Not bad. 4m/avg is pretty good but he’s not a fit here. We need an offensive D

yeah i just don't wanna see Danault sign somewhere else for 5.5 and then Coleman sign here for 4.5
