Every league that isn't the NFL should look at every move the NFL makes and either straight copy it or at least try to understand it and how it relates to their league because the NFL is lightyears ahead of every other pro league...which is good for now because there probably won't be football in 10-20 years anyway

My guess is Francis thought he had MB over a barrel and MB called his bluff and Francis is now left to try and act like this was his plan all along, to take a guy who was Montreal's #9 d man, give or take, last year. Exposing Price was one of the more shrewd moves of MB's tenure and he schooled Francis

for there to be a ransom there had to be a threat that Seattle would take Price. no one ever believed the threat existed.

Habs need to sign Danault at 5.5M$ he is worth it. much better 5.5M$ invested than having Drouin at that price. (get rid of Drouin)

The concussions stuff is already having an impact but it's the idea that guys who are good enough to make the NFL are good enough to make other pro sports as they're world class athletes and their parents may steer them to baseball and basketball as the trends show is already happening.

I'm a diehard NFL fan but it is hard to argue it's possible to play that game safely with no lasting impacts and the science is starting to catch up and essentially say this ain't safe. Won't be long before it doesn't exist in high schools and from there it's a quick death
