I cannot figure out why they'd go after Tarasenko or Landy. They need center depth bad and may even move Strome.
Not making any final judgements for awhile, but Drury doesn't seem to be off to the best start |

I've always just assumed Eichel is all but a Ranger. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like a Rangers thing that will happen. |

I think BUF wants to get him out West, if possible. They're also asking for an astronomical return for him and I'm not sure the Rangers are about to eviscerate all their young players/prospects for a guy with an unresolved neck injury |

Thats the word. Indicators pointing more and more to Taresenko.

If Dolan is pulling the strings, then it makes complete sense. Albeit non-sensical to us. Let them throw their entire future away for him. |

To Arizona???
They're +$24m below the floor. They don't need to clear cap space. |

This return for Buch is awful. Everyone knew a trade could happen with all the wingers and cap space associated to them. Just needed to get more then a 4th liner and a 2nd |

You're probably getting Eichel, so there's that. |

Yeah, it would. I mean, obviously Tarasenko is better than Garland, but why get rid of OEL? I know I've heard the last couple years he might want out, but nothing with too much steam behind it. |

Yea which will be great if they dont give up the farm and his neck is fine. Couldve trade buch at the deadline for a first easily |

The neck is the big issue. It's unresolved. He wants surgery and the team doesn't want him to have it. Who the hell knows what's going on there.
And yeah, thought you should have gotten more for Buch. |

Damn, I like Garland too. He's a feisty little fvcker. He's gonna get his head caved in one of these days doing that little dip move trying to get around a defender along the boards. It's funny, he's only about 5'6" but capfriendly has him listed at 5'10". I've talked to him and stood right next him. If he's 5'10", then suddenly I'm 6'4". |

All signs point to yes. Just gotta hope he’s willing to sign for a bit of a discount to further organizational depth. - Wildschwein

I too think at the end of the day once all bids are collected the Rangers will be the ones to get Eichel.
They have a huge need at center and the assets to get him imho. |
