Yep. Was thinking the same thing. Borgen has played 14 NHL games with no points and a -9. He looked okay, but I doubt he even makes the Kraken roster. Sabres have way bigger issues than losing Will Borgen in an expansion draft.

Nobody can say what Borgen would have turned out to be, him and Dahlin looked decent together before he broke his forearm. And even if he turned out to be a 5-6, he would have brought some toughness to this team that everyone seems to be crying about today.

If the Sabres lose McCabe and Borgen (which it looks like they will) then they essentially lose all ability to play actual defense. Not to mention a massive hole on the right side of the defense without Borgen and Risto and Miller shortly. Burtal.
