I mean, yeah I've said nearly the exact same thing the whole time. The track that he was on was a positive one though, and my only comparison to McCabe was that they both would have came into the league around their 6th year.

And idk about Borgen not showing much. He played very well for St. Cloud through his whole career, and has been pretty solid in the A the majority of his tenure. Didn't look out of place during the callups. But yes, moot point now.

McCabe was selected in the 2012 draft.
His 1st year would have been the 2012-2013 season
Year 2; the 2013-2014 Season he played 7 games
Year 3; the 2014-2015 season he played 2 games
His 4th year, 2015-2016 he played 77 games, marking his debut on a full time basis.

Where is Year 6 coming from?

No one was taking either of those two scrubs. And ullmark and Borgen are being way over valued. Ullmark can’t stay healthy and probably wants 5.5 mil minimum. Borgen hurts a little bit let’s see what we get from risto (if we extend him I will punch a wounded kitten) before we get too up ina frenzy

Montreal is loaded with LD prospects, think they have like 5 in there top 10, they need a RD, probably won't be him but that's who I would be shooting for.

I'm sure they are embarrassed I hope so at least. But being embarrassed doesn't suddenly make them smart. Rather the opposite it probably makes them feel incompetent as an organization.
